Group Lessons

    •   When we are able to organize a group of 4+ students, the cost is reduced to $75 for each student.
      • Classes with fewer than 4 students are considered a private (1 student, $105) or semi-private (2-3 students, $85 each)
      • Group lessons are designed to meet weekly at the same day/time, with mostly the same group of students. These students are committed to attending at least 75% of the lessons, so that they don’t fall behind the group’s learning pace.
      • Group lesson time posted means that you need to be ready to ride at that time.  You should arrive earlier to tack your horse.
      • Group lessons have a “main” instructor, but we utilize substitutes when needed.
      • We ride rain or shine, and on most holidays. Assume your lesson will be held unless notified by instructor or a cancellation is posted on our website.
      • Payment is due on the date of service.
      • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid paying for the lesson. (forfeit)
      • Last-minute/sick cancellations will forfeit the entire lesson fee but can schedule a practice ride with the barn manager.
      • CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER.  We do NOT follow the county school schedule.
      • You can purchase a practice rides in addition to your lessons for $45 if you can catch/groom/tack/turnout your horse.
      • Group lessons may be pre-purchased 10 for $700, and expire in 180 days.  If 2 or 3 people are in the lesson, there is a $10 upcharge for the semi-private.
    • Please note:  NEW BEGINNERS: We have found that new riders learn best in private lessons, semi-private lessons, or in our summer camp program. Private and semi-private lessons offer more individualized instruction and ensure your safety.  
    • Saturdays 9-10 am :  Intermediate 3, teens
    • Saturdays 10-11 am :  Intermediate 1-2, teens and adults
    • Saturdays 11-12 noon :  Intermediate 1-2, teens and adults
    • Saturdays 12-1 pm :  Beginner 4- Intermediate 1, children
    • Saturdays 1-2 pm :  Beginner 2/3, children
    • Saturdays  2-3 pm :  Beginner 4, children
    • Saturdays 3-4 pm :  Intermediate 1, children
    • Saturdays 4-5 pm :  Beginner 3/4-Intermediate 1, Adults
    • Saturdays 5-6 pm :  Intermediate 2, teens
    • Mondays: 6-7  pm : Beginner 4, children
    • Mondays:  7-8 pm : Intermediate 3-4, teens
    • Thursdays:  5:15-6:15 :  Intermediate 1-2, children/teens
    • Mondays: 6-7  pm : Beginner 4, children
    • Fridays:  7-8 pm taught by Ginny: Intermediate 3-4, teens
